Eligibility Criteria - Who Can Apply to AMC? Open Merit Seats Pakistani citizens (Including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan) can apply for admission on open merit seat. Passing MDCAT (NUMS)-2024 (Held on Sunday, 01 September 2024) is mandatory . Pass percentage of MDCAT for NUMS is 55% for admission in MBBS Program and 50% for BDS Program.Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent having minimum twelve years of education in atleast three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. Foreign Seats Any candidate who is a Dual National (Pakistan Origin) / Overseas Pakistani / can apply for admission on foreign seat. Candidate must have studied and passed HSSC / 12th grade examination or equivalent from outside Pakistan and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in HSSC (Pre-Medical) / 12th grade or equivalent having minimum twelve years of education in atleast three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics. Passing MDCAT (NUMS)-2024 (Held on 01 September 2024) with minimum 55% marks for admission in MBBS Program and 50% marks for BDS Program OR MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK) with 50% marks in the subjects as prescribed above. If you are applying with MCAT (USA) / UCAT (UK) for foreign seat, you will have to sign up on Online Admission Portal to process the application. Follow these steps to sign up.

Application Steps Online Registration application is divided into 6 Steps after successfully logging in.
Step 1: Profile Information
Profile information will be auto-picked from already saved information given at the time of submitting application for MDCAT-(NUMS) 2024. However, for other information required such as father/guardian CNIC/NICOP/Passport, upload the image as per the given format and click “SAVE”. For new candidates who registered on the basis of MCAT/UCAT will be required to fill the complete form as per the given format and click “SAVE”.
Step 2: Test Information
Test information of MDCAT-(NUMS) 2024 will be auto-fetched. However, for MCAT/UCAT candidate will be required to enter his/her Roll number along with total and obtained marks, upload result card and click “SAVE”.
Step 3: Academic Information
Complete the Academic information and upload the required documents (a detailed list of required documents is given in the next section).
Step 4: Choose Category of seat (Open merit / foreign seat)
At this stage candidate will be able to apply for open merit / foreign seat based on eligibility criteria. MBBS and BDS programs will be auto-selected based on passing criteria of MDCAT-(NUMS) /MCAT/UCAT.
Open Merit Seat (MBBS/BDS) will be appeared to candidate who will select ‘Pakistani’ as their nationality at Step 1. Click on proceed to next step . Note: Dual National/Overseas Pakistani can also apply for Open Merit seat (MBBS/BDS)
Foreign Seat (MBBS/BDS) will be appeared to candidate who will select Dual National/Overseas Pakistani as their nationality at Step 1. Candidate will upload the certificate of last attended institution confirming last two years of HSSC/12th grade from abroad. Click on proceed to next step . Step 5: Pay Fee
Application fees for AMC for local and foreign students Payment can be made via Debit/Credit card, Invoice or Internet/Mobile/OTC
Payment via Debit/Credit card: If Debit/Credit card option is used for payment please click “Pay Now”, enter valid card number, card expiry & CVV & proceed by clicking on “Pay Now”. Payment via Internet/Mobile/OTC: If internet/Mobile/OTC option is used for payment click “How to Pay” to check payment process for online banking options. For more information “click here to see the list”. Note: (Unique Consumer/ Kuickpay ID is used for payment through Internet banking & Bank counter).
Candidates with dual nationality or overseas Pakistanis will have the option to pay the application processing fee for both open merit and foreign seats. They can choose to pay for either the open merit seat, the foreign seat, or both.
Payment via Invoice (Challan): If Invoice option is used for payment click “Download Invoice” print the invoice (challan) and visit any nearest Askari bank to deposit invoice (challan). Step 6: Preview & Submit Application
Once payment is successfully updated, candidate will render an undertaking before preview of application. After preview click on Submit Application for both open merit and foreign seat (where applicable)

Candidate will render a certificate from the institution last attended confirming last two years of schooling from abroad. Matric/SSC Certificate or result card issued by concerned BISE or Foreign Institute (must be IBCC attested) /Equivalence Certificate of O-Level/10th grade etc., issued by IBCC. F.Sc/HSSC Pre-Medical result card issued by concerned BISE or Foreign Institute (must be IBC attested) /Equivalence Certificate of A-Level/12th Grade, etc. issued by IBCC. Transcripts of 10th Grade/O Level, where applicable. Transcripts of 12th Grade/A-Level, where applicable. Result of MDCAT (NUMS)-2024 (Held on Sunday, 01 September 2023) /Valid MCAT (USA)/Valid UCAT(UK), where applicable Other Important Information Applicants can apply by using desktop PC or laptop / Mobile phone. Applications shall only be received through online portal. Print-out of application and paid fee voucher need not to be submitted to the University but should be kept for record. Possession of CNIC is mandatory for students aged 18 and above at the time of admission. Candidates having O-Level/10th Grade and A-Level/12th Grade Level etc. shall have to upload the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC at the time of submission of online application, otherwise their application shall be rejected. It shall be the sole responsibility of the candidate to submit complete application along with the required documents. Application once submitted, cannot be changed by the applicant. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling the Online Application Form. In case of any deficiency, the University may reject the application without intimation to the candidate. The university shall cancel any provisional admission where the credentials of a student are not verified Applications shall be submitted through online portal only. Hard copies are not acceptable.
