The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has officially announced the SSC Part 1 result 2024 for science and general groups on 29th November 2024. Chairman Sharaf Ali Shah declared the results in a ceremony where key board officials were present. Science Group Performance
The BSEK result 2024 science group statistics reveal:
- Total registered candidates: 176,784
- Appearing candidates: 173,461
- Overall pass percentage: 69.52%
A total 3,323 students were reported absent from their exams. Number of students who passed all papers was 120,592 while 23,525 students passed 6 papers, 10,154 passed five papers, 7,448 passed four papers, 4,099 passed three papers, 2,344 passed two papers, ans 1327 students only passed one paper making the overall passing percentage 69.52%.
General Group Achievement
The class 9 result 2024 for general group shows:
- Total registered candidates: 16,753
- Appearing candidates: 15,745
- Overall pass percentage: 56.76%
1,008 students were reported absent from the exam. A total of 5,961 students passed seven papers, 2,080 students passed six papers, 966 passed five papers, 491 passed four papers, 327 passed three papers, and 225 passed two and one papers each.
In addtion to this, the following statistics were revealed about students registered for private general group.
- Total registered candidates: 5,672
- Appearing candidates: 5,242
- Overall pass percentage: 39.62%
430 students were reported absent from the exam. A total of 2,077 students passed seven papers, 1,277 students passed six papers, 726 passed five papers, 395 passed four papers, 266 passed three papers, and 166 passed two and 194 passed in only one paper.
The overall passing percentage for general group was 51.05%.
