This year’s update doesn’t bring a major overhaul, but there are important changes in Biology, and a few tweaks in Chemistry and Physics that students should take seriously.

Does the curriculum change every year?
Not always. 2025 saw targeted changes, mostly in Biology.
Is it possible for me to fail the MDCAT?
Yes. You must score at least 60% to pass.
I have 80% in FSc. Am I eligible?
Yes — minimum required is 70% in Intermediate.
Is there any negative marking?
No. There is no negative marking in MDCAT.
Will MDCAT be held this year?
Yes. MDCAT 2025 is proposed to be held on 14th September 2025 (Sunday).
Can I use study material from 2024?
Yes — just make sure you remove and add the correct topics based on 2025 changes.
